Amodei Eager to Exit Congress
Nevadans Need A Representative Committed To Them, Not Himself
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 13, 2018
RENO, NV -- NV-02 deserves a representative committed to finding solutions to the challenges facing Nevada’s working families. Congressman Amodei recently admitted that he is exploring a federal judgeship, while also running for reelection. It’s clear that instead of working across the aisle to deliver for Northern Nevada, he’s more interested in self-promotion.
”Our District is facing some serious challenges from affordable housing to access to quality health care; voters deserve a representative who is 100% focused on delivering for them,” said Clint Koble. “I’m running to get things done for the people of NV-2, not as a stepping stone to another job.”
“As the Trump Administration continues its attempt to stack the federal bench with right wing ideologues, it’s not surprising that Mark Amodei’s name would come up,” added Koble’s Campaign Manager, Gabriel di Chiara. “This is the same kind of insider politician, revolving door that voters have been rejecting across the country. Nevadans deserve better.”
Koble is the former State Director of the USDA Farm Service, and has years of experience working with Congress and the federal government to help farmers and ranchers in some of Nevada’s most disadvantaged communities.
